Kirk Sheperd is now a well known name in every Darts fans home, he burst on to the scene in 2007 as a qualifier for the Ladbrokes World Championships and 2 weeks later found himself fifty thousand pounds richer and the tournament eventual runner up to 2 times world champion John Part.

This lifted the rising star into the top 20 world rankings and is destined for a bright career on the circuit ahead.

Kirk is available for exhibitions across the UK, he is based in Ramsgate in Kent, so you will have to consider providing accomodation if its too far of a journey home for him. Kirk says he generally plays between 16 and 20 legs of Darts in a typical exhibition, although adds he is quite happy to play to your requirements, Kirk is able to arrive with MC, stageset and sound system providing players walk ons providing a full night of entertainment Kirk is also available for appearances and presentations.

Kirk says, I started playing darts at the young age of 9 years when I was introduced to the game by my Dad and have been hooked ever since. I still use the same darts to this day that my Sister bought for me for my ninth 9th birthday.

I started playing properly at the age of 13 years for a pub and went from strength to strength. I have been quite successful - the most prestigious title was being crowned Winmau World Youth Master and playing for England for two years. I have also had by downs as nearly all dart players have.

I have thrown two 9-dart 501 legs since playing darts and have also achieved two of my goals ie Playing Darts live on TV and beating the World No 1 at the time, Gary Anderson.

When not on the board, you will usually find me with friends out or down the pub. I also like to travel to see different places. I have made some good friends playing darts and met some great people.
